Processing Files with Clear-CAT
To start processing files for translation with clear-cat® a project structure should be available in the Material Explorer. Click to enlarge or shrink this Image To create such a structure you'll need to insure that the Material Administration Activity is active, by selecting the "Start Page - Projects Tab" followed by clicking the "Start \Root" button.

Click to enlarge or shrink this ImageAfter the activity is activated the user can create any project structure in the Material Explorer by selecting the starting node \Root, en building the project tree from that point downwards.

By following the project requirements of your client, a storage structure can be created in Clear-CAT® which mirrors the project translation requirements including the target languages.

So by adding a clientname by means of a company to the root structure, followed by the next item which could be a product identifier, or product type the translation request is copied into a structure, see rightmost picture on this page for a few idea's of such a structure. (Click to enlarge!)

Now the user can choose between a file import method (after right clicking the node), like is identified in the leftmost picture, or a directory import method which is shown in the picture below.

Click to enlarge or shrink this Image Depending on the selection either a file or directory dialog is provided to select one or more files, or a complete directory structure (including all nested directories).

After the selection has been acknowledged Clear-CAT® starts the import process for all selected files, or directories in one go.
