Clear-CAT is designed to take full advantage of existing translation memories which are fully compatible with TRADOS® TM, and combines the functionality found in Visual Software localization tools with the benefit of translation memory tools.

By using a translation memory technology based on open standards like MS-SQL, which is included in the package, both software and documentation translations will benefit and can leverage from earlier translations when available.
